Family farmed since 1882. Like most farms, at one time people produced nearly everything they would need to eat and feed to their own animals. We seem to be going full circle back that food system. Besides a garden and livestock (cattle, sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys, ducks) we have recently started to once again grow grains and pulses. Our crops include barley, oats, buckwheat, heritage wheat, peas, lentils, flax, hay and straw. We have honey bees as well. For 2018 we plan try some bean varieties. Because we eat the foods we produce we grow without herbicides, pesticides, synthetic fertilizers and gmo seeds!!
