Kootenay Corner Gardens is a market garden nestled along the scenic Kootenay River 20 min south of Nelson, BC. Thalia van der Holt and Josh Mateschitz started the farm in 2021. Both transitioning their careers from professional Chefs, they found their way back to the seed. Thalia and Josh are committed to biodiversity and regenerative farming practices.
Their CSA boxes bring fresh, local produce to your doorstep, and they partner with local businesses and restaurants, continuing to build the local food movement. You can also find them at the Nelson Farmers' Market and they are thrilled to invite you to their very own farm stand, where you can purchase fresh produce, preserves, and eggs from June-November. In the spring, throughout the month of May they open their greenhouse for their annual seedlings sale where you can pick up everything you need for your veggie garden!
