Honey Bee Zen Apiaries Ltd. produces local, pure, raw honey products, including niche flavours and forages. It is separate and distinct from its subsidiary, the Swan Valley Honey brand, which is one of the largest local honey producers in the Kootenays. It operates a federally-regulated and inspected honey processing to ensure the highest quality of pure honey products for our customers. We don't use pasteurization or hyper-filtration, both of which we believe hurts the beautiful products our bees produce.
We're local beekeepers and business owners who have a passion for producing only the best, wholesome honey products. You can almost taste the sunshine that our bees have harnessed to produce such flavourful sweetness. We are committed to working with the Yaqan Nukiy, farmers and land stewards who respect the land they use and the bees we provide, and we seek out strong and beneficial relationships.
We are interested in the science and breeding of bees, the production of pure honey and hive products, and the challenges bees and their keepers around the world face. We are passionate about educating people on the importance of bees to food production.
Our Honey Bee Zen brand specializes in creamed and flavoured honeys, as well as pollen production, beeswax candles and natural care products made with beeswax, honey and propolis.
