Nestled into the Skimmerhorn Mountains in the Creston Valley, Full Circle Farm is a small mixed organic (certification with PACS 2018) farm practicing regenerative agriculture and producing grain, stoneground flour and root crops. We farm only our land (no rented fields) focusing on soil health so that we produce nutritious food for you. Our farmer/inventor built and primarily uses a solar electric tractor, powered by solar panels in the field, a microhydro system on a back creek (soon); a second electric tractor and many implements have been sourced/invented over the years. We strive to reduce our use of fossil fuel use each year and work to sink carbon into the soil with innovative practices, hopeful that we can be a small part of reducing our food's impact on the climate emergency and helping provide food security for RDCK folks. Our grains vary each year (for soil health) and may include rye, hard red winter/spring wheats, khorasan, spelt, red fife wheat, emmer farro, einkorn and buckwheat. All grains are all organic, old or ancient varieties. Our flour mill is a Austrian stone mill that keeps the flour cool whilst milling, maintaining best nutrition and shelf life. Flour is packed into 2 or 3 layer paper bags without plastic. We produce almost all our own food, love truly sustainable and regenerative farming and humbly try to reflect that in our lives!
