Fat Goat Farmstand and Nursery is the work and love of a multigenerational family-owned farm in Hills.
Come see us for plants, fresh eggs, seasonal produce, garlic braids, honey and other delights all from our farm including our goats on the hill!
Our vegetables and flowers starts, available from our greenhouse, begin their journey from seed to seedling right here on our farm. We carry more than nearly 300 varieties of plants; vegetables, medicinal herbs, cooking herbs, and flowers of all sorts. We also make ornamental and edible hanging baskets and containers for your smaller spaces.
At Fat Goat Farm we use regenerative, planet friendly growing practices, ethical animal care and we source our seeds from Canadian suppliers with focus on open pollination and non GMO.
We also have an apiary of busy bees. We love our bees for their pollinating ways and leave much of their honey for them but do have honey available when there is enough for us to share.
Each day we bring some of our goat herd down from our pastures to spend time on the hill at the farmstand and entertain anyone stopping by. We encourage pictures, a pet through the fence and maybe even feeding them an approved snack. Our goats love people, but for their safety and yours, we do not allow anyone to get in with the animals.
