Website: passcreekfair.com2018 marks the 5th annual Spring Farm Fair at the Pass Creek Regional Exhibition Grounds and the 25th Fall Fair. The Pass Creek Exhibition Grounds is an incredible location, that is owned by the Regional District Central Kootenays (RDCK) and managed by Pass Creek Regional Exhibition Society for the past 25 years. P.C.R.E.S., has hosted a multitude of different events for the community including the Annual Pass Creek Spring and Fall Fair. A fall fair just isn’t complete without great local examples of the homegrown, homespun and hand made. Along with arts, crafts, baking, preserving and needlecraft you’ll find an abundance of gorgeous flowers and garden produce. There are prizes to be won! Including a $100 prize for the winner of this year’s Scarecrow competition.
You looking for animals? There will be no shortage, a petting zoo runs Friday through Sunday with events taking place throughout.
Parking is always a concern, so to minimize congestion, a bus will be running from the Castlegar Complex and Heritage Museum to the fairgrounds. Simply park your car at these locations and catch the free round-trip bus that will run from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. both days.
