We have been baking our buns off for the last 20 years using mostly organic ingredients and whenever possible, locally grown. We love to build relationships with local suppliers like Tipiland, Burton Farm, Ariah's Edibles, Soups in Season, Oso Negro, Salix and Sedge, to name a few. Grains, seeds, veggies, eggs, most fruits, sugar, milk, cream are some of the certified organic ingredients we use.
It is our humble privilege to live here and make delicious food for our community, nourishing relationships and bodies. We are delighted to sell delicious lunches, snacks, breads and sweets that often made for our customers with food sensitivities. Valhalla Forest cake, Silica Street Sourdough, BC organic Chicken Pot Pies, Kale Caesar Salad, fresh organic juices and smoothies, and rich Brioche buns are just a sampling of the 200 food products we make from fresh ingredients, right here, in store.
As a worker's cooperative, we run our business democratically with the worker/members making decisions, making food, sharing it with our customers and sharing profits. We are continuously striving to support the flourishing of our business, our people (customers and workers), and our planet. Be Nourished!
