Based in Salmo, BC we are proud local producers of craft-made fermented foods, including tempeh, sauerkraut, curtido, ginger carrots, kimchi and more. We are devoted to supplying the Kootenays with foods of the highest quality, made using natural, local and eco-friendly ingredients.

Founded by Greg Janssen in 2018, his enthusiasm for food and fermentation is evident in his products. Greg started his love of fermentation with brewing beer in the states, then expanded to lacto-fermented foods. He likes his ferments to be a bit on the crispy side, like a “fermented salad” and hopes that people start incorporating his ferments into their daily diet to add freshness, zing and digestibility. We hand-craft each batch to ensure that it is packed with natural flavours and nutrition. There is a difference you can taste immediately when you eat local food made from fresh organic ingredients. Our logo is “Small Batches – Big Flavour!” and we hold true to that.
